Thank you so much for this lovely stay at your beautiful quinta! It was a much needed respite from all the crazy family time.
My best wishes to you both, and spartapus of course!
I see you as my second home. I love your kindness and your relaxed mind, a great inspiration for me Caroline and thank you Gregory I have got a better understanding of my self and the spiritual world. Your patience and always readiness to talk to me when I am stuck. It has been a dear gift for me and a new experience. Something I always have been longing after. I thank you both from my heart.
We arrived to your Quinta in the afternoon, Daria and Koren straight away felt at home and were playing on the carpet thanks to Carolina’s warm heart, while trying to get them out to swim in the river they still wanted to stay.
Me and Gregory went out to the land and had a great afternoon hike along the Seia river and the boulder land. When we came back the kids with Orly opened up a pine nut factory all of this followed by a great dinner. We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
When planning my trip to the Serra some months ago, I had so many plans and so many things I wanted to see and do. Shortly after my arrival in Portugal, than I became more and more doubtful whether I would be able and willing, to actually stick with my plans and put them into practice, whether it was only the Portuguese summer that I had never experienced before – I don’t know.
When I finally arrived at your wonderful place, however, all my plans seemed to have disappeared and I was completely happy with that. Just enjoying your wonderful home and especially your fabulous garden, reading a book or just letting thoughts and ideas come and go, gave me the best time I could not have asked for more. Thank you for your great hospitality and kindness, for the lovely food and the numerous fulfilling conversations we have had in just a short amount of time. All the best and lots of love,
Thank you very much for this short but very interesting break in a very special and calm place, perfect for seeing the Serra and planning bicycle trips, and overall just enjoying this magnific and under rated part of Portugal.
Thank you for the lovely meals and for practising my English with such interesting people. And obviously thanks for having a French speaking gardener with such a good culture and language, which had been a kind of nice break during my Portuguese internship. Best regards,
I felt heartfelt welcome like coming home. I was amazed with the hospitality and kindness received from you both. The icing on the cake were those casual conversations with Gregory which always triggered some thoughts to keep on pondering about. A beautiful house/home and excellent ambiance with quietness.
Reading book under the tree reminded me of my childhood. It was different kind of experience while staying with the author and reading your book. Felt a bit enlightened and less burdened and definitely taking away nice memories and a lot of food for thoughts with me. Who knows maybe see you again. Until then goodbye. Take care! With love and regard
Thank you so very much for the warm welcome in your beautiful home. A very special week which I needed very much. The house, garden, surroundings, mountains and last but not least the rose quartz have been very healing. The talks and energy from both of you were special and gave me valuable insights. Forever grateful for this week at Quinta da Luz. It has brought my light back.
Caroline and Gregory it has been almost 2 years since my first visit – unbelievable. Your support and guidance set the course for my life´s path. I often wonder how my life would have unfolded without having met you. I am forever grateful for your safe haven. Love and Blessings.
Dear Gregory and Caroline, thank you for yet again welcoming us with open arms. And, providing a much needed tranquil haven on our journey between Lisbon and Santander. In the fleeting time we have been here it felt like time slowing down, enjoying listening to the frogs in the pond, picking lavender on the track and meeting the pups at the bottom of the garden, BLISS! Next time its your turn to visit us to meet our baby boy. We are delighted to see you both looking so healthy and happy – keep doing what your are doing. Lots of love
